My journey at what began as InvestOnline and later became Happy Horizon was one of significant growth, driven by a commitment to creating user-centered solutions. I had the privilege of contributing to numerous projects, each offering valuable learning opportunities. Whether leading the front-end team or focusing on UI/UX design, my primary goal was to ensure that the digital experiences we created were not only aesthetically pleasing but, more importantly, effectively addressed user needs and contributed to the client’s business objectives. This involved a constant focus on usability, accessibility, and the overall user journey.

At Sportunity, my focus was on leveraging new technologies to enhance the sports world through the development of various web and mobile applications. I dedicated myself to understanding how these digital tools could improve the experience for athletes and organizers alike. This role also involved significant work in motion design, ensuring that interactions within these environments were not only functional but also intuitive and engaging for the user. My development work with Vue.js was always guided by the principle of creating seamless and user-friendly experiences.

Augusoft provided an invaluable environment to deepen my understanding of the design and development landscape. Starting as a Front-end Developer, I embraced the opportunity to learn and grow alongside my studies at HAN, evolving into a confident Front-end Developer & Designer. This period was marked by engaging projects, with a particular highlight being the UX design and development of four informative games for Utrecht’s Prinses Máxima Centrum – a national children’s cancer treatment centre. This project allowed me to directly apply my skills to create engaging and accessible learning experiences for a sensitive audience, focusing on their specific needs and ensuring a positive interaction.
